Today we have a special guest you all know, the legendary multi-platinum producer Ken "K-Lou" Franklin. We trade stories as we discuss business, history and future of K-Lou Studios and K-Lou Records. Without a doubt, K-Lou is responsible for hundreds of classic G-Funk and Mobb tracks of the Bay Area Golden-Era and the New Millenium, he is best known for his work with Master P's "No Limit Records", N2Deep of Vallejo and E-40's "Sic-Wid-It Records".

We answer questions from the collectors and fans. We delliver a bit of game.

Also, we debut some new tracks including:
• "Who Cares" - the collab between Y.B.B.I., Rinnessy and Young Candyman (aka the son of K-Lou).

We also share the remix of:
• "Rinnessy'zee" by Dirty Game (producer of Yokohama, Japan).

As usual, we touchdown in France to visit the G-Funk scene of Paris, France.

YBBI, that so thight to have this interview with this legendary mobb shit producer ! mixin, studi, production, guitar, live bass, k-lou is responsible of many bay area classic from the mid and the end of the 90' ... i kept his game tight in the new millenium toooo, tracks are bangin !!!!

putain jsuis tromatisé ... la manière de faire ses drums et ses sons sont hallucinantes !!! le gars il a un toucher de dingue ! c vraiment cool de voir la construction d'un beat comme ca par ce mec ! dommage j'aurai aimé entendre la déflagration des basses énormes du mid 90' dans l'interview, cette prod est new school mais elle a son charme !

content que ça vous plaise, j'espère qu'il y aura un peu plus de feedbacks, mais bon, c'est les vacances, alors j'imagine que bcp auront loupé le coche des diffusions et se rattraperont avec les podcasts...

pour l'anglais, c'est vrai qu'à moins de bien maîtriser, ya certains passages plus tendus que d'autres à capter... d'où l'avantage du podcast qui permet de réécouter autant de fois qu'on veut...

mais sinon, à défaut de traduire TOUT l'interview (parce qu'v'là le temps que ça prendrait !), Kletcher & co, si ya un passage en particulier qui vous titille, let me know, je verrai ce que je peux faire... moi ou une autre âme charitable pas trop manchot en anglais d'ailleurs hein, lol, qu'elles se privent pas...

au pire, YBBI lui-même pourra venir lui-même décrypter les trucs les plus compliqués...

Ouai Kicket c'est exactement ce que je me suis dis le "PODCAST"est ma seul chance de comprendre vraiment l'interview.

K-Lou le maitre incontestable en interview c'est vraiment fort merci YBBI !!!

Je me prenais y a pas longtemps encore un fix sur les 2 prod présente en plus sur le cd single "Mr Ice cream man" du P et il me semble bien voir même absolument affirmatif que K-lou est a l'origine ( il faut que je vérifie histoire de pas passer pour une buse), p'tain mais v'la le travail de dingue !!!

good lookin for the interview YBBI. too bad K-Lou wasn't in the studio with you and Rinessy because it's sometimes hard to figure what he says over the phone. anyway overall it's a well conducted interview, K-Lou did well in detailing the different phases of his career in the music industry. I liked how he acknowledged the mistakes he made and that he should have listened to Master P but I just wish he would have drawn a little bit longer on his relationships with other artists, who he was feeling the most, that kind of random stuff... hopefully all of this will be dealt with next week, at any rate, much love.
