whats up world! this ya boy Rasan, comin straight out of san diego! The homie Kicket asked me to join the forum, so here I is! lol
I got a new album out called West Coast Hip Hop, ya dig..
I am a rapper and producer and have produced for many San Diego acts which include Big June, Lil CS and the Mob Kingz, Sidewayz Ent, Bossman Hogg, Young Sau, Sicc One, and many more...

Welcome on the board Rasan.

One of the most talented up & coming producers outta Dago.

I posted "These streets" track in the SD thread to promote your lp on this board and it got some good feedbacks. (and also snippets of the Young Sicc lp in the sureno thread to promote your work).

Keep makin those mobbish beats! that's what cali music is missing nowadays.

and also i am not from the southeast, i'm from the southside..so thats make it even nore interesting for cats to hear..cuz ain't really nothin comin out that region except for queenie....

hey by the way, could you "teach" us a little bit about the various areas in San Diego and which ones correspond to what type of "sound" or artists?? Cause we're always hearing about South East but hey!! i guess its not the only place in Dago, lol...

well most the sd rap you hear is from the southeast and eastside of daygo!
everybody from mitchy to c.s., big june, bossman hogg, they all reside in these areas.....

the southeast is the grimy part of sd i would say, in various spots...

I live in southside sd...the south has mainly ese's.....
but no rap comin out that way! lol excpet for me, my group, EMF, termite, southpsycho side, and queenie...

so i'm just tryin to put the south on the map, and daygo as whole on the map as well...and i thank you kicket for giving me some international exposure!
I wouldn't mind doin a show out there too!

whoa!! dope dope album, for real... i listened to it all afternoon and evening long, lol...
the typically "Dago-sounding" tracks are all fuckin tight (on some Ecay Uno level, production-speaking) and the more "hyphy/crunk" ones (such as "What I See", "Take It Outside", "Let's Get Stupid", etc.) are surprisingly great too...

yeah, definitely a A+ album... after a few listenings, my favourite tracks are "Black And Brown", "These Streets", "My Departure", "It Will Go Down", "Holla At Ya Boy" and "Reflections"...

it's just a pity the artwork looks that "cheap", loool... no offense uh, don't get me wrong, but c'mon, a good artwork is really something to care about, nawmean?

I got it too and to be honest, I wish it has more "These streets" kind of beats, but you said it: there are different flavors on your lp, there's something for every one on it, plus it gots your own sound identity and that's a good thing... definitly a quality product.

My fav are "These streets", "Creepin", "My departure", "Reflections" and "It will go down", all bangers.

Glad to see you got OG Big June on it too.

You came with a real solid first lp, you know you got skillz (prods & lyrics), keep doing your thang Ra$an

Franchement si ils y en a qui hésitent encore à acheter ce skeude arrêté tout!!!!!! Foncez c'est du bon (en plus meme avec les frai de ports ca reste moins chère qu'un skeude acheté en France!! :wink:

) Par contre j'ai été surpris de voir une ou 2 ziks plus hyphy dans ce LP

meme si c'est vrai qu'elles passent pas trop mal dans l'ensemble :wink:

. Pour ce qui est des ziks que je préfère je serai moins séléctif que Kicket ou G-Ro, y'en a beaucoup qui me plaisent comme My Departure, It Will Go Down, Holla At Ya Boy, Its Nothin, These Streets, Black And Brown mais mon coup de coeur reste quand meme pour Creepin... :shock:

C'est claire que par contre la pochette de l'album n'est vraiment pas terrible mais à la limite en écoutant le son ou l'oublie vite :wink:

En tout cas, Big Up Rasan for this dope album, let's continu to make some westcoast soundz like that et un grand merci a G-Ro pour cette découverte :wink:
