this compilation is dope... mostly latinos performers, full of excellent g-funk beats.
my favorite tracks : "got it locked down" & "sixteen"

Just for complete the topic, i have a 1995 (write on the back cover ) version put by hoodlum/street records ( or a familia records version cauz we can see the tipical Mexican color on the parental advisory ) with a different cover.

For sure Amonraa is an excellent compilation with this hot g-funk flavor.

The tracklist is the same in this older (?) version. I love the tracks with the shaft gangsta click and also lil chill. Can you tell me if shaft gangsta click put an album cauz at one moment, years ago, familia records put some promotion on the inside cover for this group on his cds.

made it more commercial...cuz thiz 1st u have wuz a local release...

n i know that lil chill n shaft gangsta clicc made a whole album but i can't remember exactly what wuz da name of da album...i'll ask my cuz n get bacc at ya..n maybe i can get my handz on that album n hook it up!!

"westpresentin'" is fo' me one of the tightest comp' from Southern Cali.

we speak in particular 'bout the S.G.C. in the topic which kicket'given the link...
a few tracks are known & really appreciated,but the bands album is still wanted by lot of peeps...told to be only 12" released...

Lil Chill "No brighter dayz" produced by Murry Brumfield is the track! That song reminds me of some kind of mc eiht & 1/2oz productions' flavor... definitly my cut on this comp

pas etonnant quand on sais qu'il est le frangin de chill,d'ailleurs meme sur son album on retrouve une grosse influence des lp de mc eiht/cmw.pour ma part c'est aussi une track que j'apprecie enormement,bien melancolique,ms ma favorite track c'est what the hoodlum like,avec un refrain et un son de fou et surtout le dernier couplet bien vener de tana boe,qui me rappele trop "troll" du kelly park

That's a flawless cd right there I got this other compilation that came out on Hoodlum Records called "Worldwide"



It has some nice songs by the likes of AllFrumTha I, Slink Capone, Road Dawgs and so on..some songs ain't exclusive though, such as the one by Lil Chill or the one from 1st Amendment (from the "Wood Work" album)..

lol, fais l'effort de bien écouter cette compil', elle est aussi classique que westpresentin'.

Comment dire que le morceau avec Mexicali Slim tu le mets à la poubelle ?

n'exagere pas non plus,pour moi elle lui arrive vraiment pas a la cheville,nan faut dire ce qu'y est la worlwide a bien trop de dechets pour pouvoir la comparer a westrepresentin,meme si a cote ya des bon ptits morceaux notamment celle de road dawgs ou encors celle avec comrads...par ailleurs c'est plus un projet qu'une vrai compile car produite par be-upone sur son label da park productions en co-parteneriat avec hoodlum records

ouai,d'ailleur j'me suis tromper,j'voulai dire "bee-upone" est pas "boo-kapone",celle des roads dawgs elle claque aussi,bien sombre,mais pour le reste on peut refermer le couvercle..

yup, ok avec vous pour le ressentis, sans crier au chef d'oeuvre je dirais pas que cette compil est mauvaise même si elle est en dessous de la westrepresentin,
effectivement bonne track des AllfrumthaI "i got yo back", sa deviens vraiment sympa a partir de la track 6 "got you humpin" ou sa rap façon mickael jackson...sa ma bien fait deliré.
La 7 "lost 2 many homies" une bonne track, ambiance sombre en rapport au titre du morceau mais efficace.
la 8 "bend another corner with me", la aussi du son lourd et une bonne brochette de feats.
La 10 "united nations" bonne prestation de K-mac des Comrads
La 18 "wah lah" effectivement comme vous le souligner, du bon taf de bee-upone
La 20 "born in the ghetto"toujours interpreté par bee-upone : excellente
la 21 "ain't no love lost"....bon on finis en beauté sur la bombe de lil chill & spanish fly, rien a dire c'est du solide.
...et quelques autres,en tous cas sa merite l'ecoute.
