Triste coincidence, alors que son nouvel album "Donuts" est sorti cette semaine, James Yancey aka Jay Dee aka J Dilla est décèdé aujourd'hui vendredi 10 février dans un hopital de Los Angeles. Le producteur de Detroit souffrait depuis 2 ans de graves problèmes rénaux qui l'avaient contraint à l'hospitalisation (c'est d'ailleurs en partie à l'hopital que l'album "Donuts" a été conçu). Après avoir annulé sa tournée européenne en septembre, Jay Dee était finalement venu en novembre dernier pour un concert au Nouveau Casino à Paris.

gt dans un studio ou ya avait Kareem Riggins son soce qui faisait une drum cession qd il a appris la nouvelle , il etait deg mais apparement sa santé ct bien degradé ces derniers temps, la derniere fois qu'il etait allé le voir à l'hosto ct deja bien tendu, meme si ils continuaient de parler sur des projets futurs, ct bcp pour remonter le moral de jay dee
